Here's the scenario. We're on dm6 and he's standing in the middle of the stairway going from the plasma gun to the middle level where you can take the jump pad to the Railgun. I come down the stairs to find him just standing there (no chat bubble) so I pop him one with the RL, he retaliates and I retreat back up the stairs, only to turn around and come right back down after him.

As you can see, he had his chat bubble up this time (this was like 2 seconds after he hit me with a rocket and I retreated) so I didn't even look before I shot and killed him (I wish I had a demo)
